How can you help?
The Friends of Broomhill are local residents who want to make the park a better place.
Here follows just a few ways you can help. If you are interested, please give us a call.
We cut back overgrown areas, we clear litter, we plant bulbs, we clear up fly tipping.
What could be more fun and healthy than getting out into the open air for a couple of hours on a Sunday morning? And you can really make a difference!
All ages and abilities welcome, (children accompanied by responsible adult please) tools supplied, and all work is safely supervised.
Having more members gives us more clout with the council, and makes it easier for us to raise funds - simple as that.
This is always a big day for us! We need help to put up the marquees and run all the stalls including the tea bar.
We meet every couple of months to plan the future shape of the park, organize events and fund raising, as well as discussing current issues or problems. We have contacts with the police and the council.
